I remember this used to be one of my favourite times as a young girl on camping trips -paddling in creeks or rock pools. My oldest daughter must have taken after me because she spent over an hour paddling in an ICE COLD creek. Seriously. My feet were in there for less than 30 seconds and they were numb with cold. None of the adults could handle it but 3 of the 4 preschoolers braved the icy conditions to race boats made of bark and leaves and throw BIG rocks. Abbey was happier just to watch from the bank and to wander up and down making up songs about a babbling creek....
I loved the 2 year old boy talk! "Dis BIG rock make BIG splash" Can't wait till Jesse's joining him!!

It's amazing how kids just can't seem to feel cold! That creek looks beautiful there. Great pictures!
