"The Dons"
We had a murder mystery party titled "4 Deuces". it was set in New York in the 1920's - a very Gangster and Flapper theme. It was so much fun - we are planning on hosting a sequel next year with more of our friends. Kieren "The big Don"ended up being murdered but came back as a cavorting congressman!! Our friend Kelly ended up being the murderer and was awarded "Best Costume"! Heather was awarded"Best Actress" and I won "Most Wealthy Player"!
We had an absolute hoot! There are going to be so many more adult parties rather than only kids parties in future!!!

That looks like such fun. I remember doing murder mystery nights with the youth group, but I think it would be much more fun as adults. Well done - what a great idea for a party!
Oh, my hubby and I love murder mystery parties!! We haven't done one since we had the children.... here's a question- what were all the children doing? I've grappled with the idea of running one for Stuart, but couldn't think how the children would go....
Hi Saminda! The children were all in bed! We planned the evening for 7pm - all my kids tend to be in bed by 6.30-7. It was a lot of preparation in the preceding week but well worth the effort!! I think the night ended at about 11pm but we did a 3 course meal - if you made it 7.30 and just for dessert/coffee it might finish a bit earlier! I'd forgotten how much fun adults parties can be!!
