Our Abbey started 3 year old kinder a fortnight ago. She's been waiting a whole year for this day (ever since Elise started last year!) She is going to a new kinder in a quiet neighbourhood street with their own pet duck called "Waddles". So Abbey's kinder is now affectionately known as "Waddle's kinder". I can't believe my little baby girl is packing her lunch bag and saying "bye Mum" without a backward glance.... :-(
She seems so grown up. I'm really trying to treasure this year - we have 2 home days a week where I try to remember that the housework can wait and doing fun things like the 3 of us girls painting our toenails is much more important. Hmmm - I think this year and the next is going to fly.....then soon enough I'll be saying goodbye at the school gate.
