Olive??

A couple of weeks ago Jesse had his 2 month child health appointment.
The nurse asked me if I had any questions - just one -
"is he still a bit jaundiced?" I asked.
"No", she said, "he's just got beautiful olive skin! "
"Olive skin?? Are you sure??" said I,
"why? Your husband must have darker skin, does he?"
"no we are both fair and our girls are too!!"

Just goes to show that great-grandparents can have a big genetic influence!! So thank you Pop and Pa for my little golden boy!!
