Here's Jesse's 1st birthday pics. We ended up celebrating it today as yesterday was such a write-off with kinder drop offs and pick ups, school transition for Ellie as well and other odd jobs. Today was much quieter and much more enjoyable for Jesse. He had his usual morning bottle with me in bed and then we opened his presents. A quick breakfast and then friends came over for a short play. We were treated with honey joys and chocolate spiders that our friends had made which were just delicious! Tonight we had Nan over and celebrated with some chinese take-away and a hastily put-together birthday cake! (Not that there were ANY complaints from the kids!) All-in-all a quiet and happy day. But I'm definitely ready for bed! ciao...
