When Kieren was in Scotland in Jan/Feb I managed to look after 3 children under the age of 5 for 2 whole weeks by myself. I don't know about you but I think that it was a major achievement... I absolutely take my hat off to single mum's - I can't imagine what it would be like with no end in sight...
So to celebrate this achievement of survival (by the way - a big thank you to all you people who helped me out in that fortnight!) i got to have a weekend away in Brisbane with Jesse!
We had a ball! Jesse was so good - being whisked around from place to place with lots of cuddles and bedding down in all sorts of places! I managed to catch up with a lot of friends and family. And chatted a way to my hearts content the entire weekend!! Felicia celebrated her birthday on the sat which was a load of fun - I have to say I think you are doing an awesome job being Mum to 3 boys (see photos!! - gorgeous!)
A big thank you to Felicia and Melanie for your hospitality ...and Lisa for the lend of your car! I was also chaffed to be invited to Chri and Matt's new house for a fab lunch and relaxing avo with the fam - thanks Chri!!
Also I have to thank my hubbie for looking after the girls for a long weekend and enabling me to have such a refreshing break!! Love ya!!
